Sometimes I'm scared. I'm scared of what I don't understand, of what I understand too well and of what I do not want to understand. Sometimes I'm scared of what I forget and sometimes I'm scared of the dreams I dare to have.
But I keep understanding and dreaming and forgetting!

I made this illustration thinking about Constanţa, the city of my heart. I had a favorite bench there, where I used to sit and admire the sea. It doesn't look at all like my drawing, but this is the image that somehow get stuck in my head and appears every time I think about my birth town.

Oil Spill

I don't turn off the light every time I leave the room, but I am after all environmentally conscious, so this was my way of helping animal research in the battle against Gulf oil spills. The money raised from selling the original has been donated.
